What is Flipp Family?
Established in 2019, Flipp Family is dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding of Filipino culture among young families. Our mission is to make learning enjoyable and accessible through modern experiences that provide a fresh perspective on traditional elements.
In collaboration with a diverse array of AAPI/women businesses, we take pride in curating a thoughtfully selected collection of products. These offerings cater to both kids and the entire family, ensuring a comprehensive and immersive exploration of different cultures. Each product is chosen with care, emphasizing creativity and interactivity to enhance the overall family experience!
The Team
Jenn Estacio
Jenn Estacio is a dynamic marketer, community organizer, entrepreneur, and mother of three young children, boasting over 16 years of experience across the marketing industry, community-based organizations, and the nonprofit sector. With expertise in business strategy, operational leadership, and team building for startups, Jenn has successfully balanced her career with a commitment to fostering community engagement and programming.
Throughout college, Jenn has consistently been involved in various community organizations and non-profits within the Filipinx community, holding leadership roles ranging from Programming Director to Board Chair. While ascending the corporate ladder, she temporarily set aside her community work to focus on her career and family. However, after the birth of her three children, Jenn rediscovered her passion for community involvement and went on to establish two thriving businesses: Flipp Family and KUBO LB.
In 2019, fueled by her love for creativity and community, Jenn is the founder and CEO (Chief Experience Officer) of Flipp Family.
Recognizing a need for community spaces, Jenn co-founded KUBO LB in 2022 with her business partner, Romeo Garcia. KUBO LB is a creative community space supporting small businesses through retail and cultural programming, with a focus on uplifting BIPOC, Filipinx, women, and LGBTQIA+ businesses and organizations.
In her leisure time, Jenn experimenting in the kitchen,, staying active through workouts, and discovering the latest culinary gems at local restaurant, especially Filipino fusion cuisine!
Andrea Abee
Andrea is a mom to two young girls. In her spare time, she loves crafting, working on custom wooden projects, and going "pasyal" with her family. You can usually catch her at Disneyland or the beach. She's currently back in school and on her way to getting her master's in Speech Language Pathology. Andrea is our Experiences Coordinator and has been with us for a year. She researches and attends local pop-up events, helps create decorations, and assists with our events.
Genalyn Madrona
As the Admin and Social Media lead, I've been part of the team for over a year now. I take care of the day-to-day tasks smoothly and make sure our social media presence shines. I love coming up with new ideas to connect with our audience and make our online presence stand out. Outside of work, you'll find me enjoying movies and playing music. I'm happy to be part of the team and look forward to what's ahead.
